The eighth episode of the TV anime "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (Chi: Chikyu no Undo ni Tsuite)", based on the manga by Uoto, which was also selected as the Manga Grand Prize winner of the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, titled "I Must Become Icarus", will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 11:45 pm on November 16th. In the eighth episode, Count Piast appears as a young man. Voice actor Daisuke Namikawa plays the young Piast.
Badeni and Okuji contact Yolenta, who has solved a difficult astronomy problem. Yolenta denies it, saying "I didn't write it," but Badeni sees through her intelligence. Yolenta is unsure when Badeni proposes a joint study of the heliocentric theory. The reason for her hesitation is not only that it is ideologically taboo, but also seems to be influenced by the presence of Count Piast, the director of the astronomy research institute and an authority on astronomy.
The series was serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" (Shogakukan) from 2020 to 2022. Set in 15th century Europe, the story depicts people risking their lives to study the heretical theory of heliocentrism. The anime will be produced by Madhouse, the studio behind "Summer Wars."
