It has been revealed that a visual project themed around Fukui, the setting of the TV anime "Chitose-kun is in a Ramune Bottle," based on the popular light novel from Shogakukan Gagaga Bunko (Shogakukan), "Chiramune Fukui Graffiti," has begun. The visuals will be a mix of anime illustrations and live-action scenery, featuring landscapes and characters photographed in Fukui. The first visual is inspired by "meetings," and the landscape photos were taken by tomosaki, a photographer from Fukui Prefecture.
The second key visual was also released, featuring all the main characters: Saku, Yuuko, Yuku, Yuzuki, Haru, and Asukaze.
The story is about Saku Chitose, a student at Fujishi High School, the prefecture's top preparatory school, who excels in academics, sports, and communication, but is asked to rehabilitate a certain reclusive student.
The anime will be directed by Yuji Tokuno and produced by feel. In addition to Shogo Sakata as Chitose Saku, the cast will include Manaka Iwami, Hina Yomiya Ikumi Hasegawa, Rumi Okubo, and Chika Anzai. It will begin airing in October.
