A new trailer for "Witchy Pretty Cure! ~MIRAI DAYS~", the sequel to the 13th installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "Maho Girls PreCure!", was released on YouTube on November 12th. The trailer celebrates the birthday of Cure Magical, also known as Izayoi Riko, and begins with the line, "I'm home, everyone!" A new character, a mysterious girl named Hisui, also appears. It was also revealed that Hisui will be played by Hayami Saori, who also plays Cure Felice/Hanaumi Kotoha.
It was also announced that Cure Miracle, Cure Magical, and Cure Felice will sing the ending theme "Kisekira Link". The trailer also features the opening theme "Dokkin◇Witchy Pretty Cure! Part 3 ~MIRAI DAYS~" sung by Kitagawa Rie.
As a new project to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the "PreCure" series, the series is producing anime aimed at "adults" so that the main audience at the time of broadcast, children aged 3 to 6, can continue to enjoy the series. As part of this, "Kibou no Chikara ~Otona PreCure '23~", which depicts the grown-up versions of Yumehara Nozomi and her friends from the fourth and fifth series, "Yes! PreCure 5" and "Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!", which aired from February 2007 to January 2009, will be broadcast on NHK Educational TV from October to December 2023. The catchphrase is "Two time periods (futures) are now connected with the magic words 'Cure Up Rapapa!'" and the story is set in the magical world and the human world, depicting Mirai Asahina, Riko Izayoi, and Kotoha Hanaumi transforming into the "legendary magicians" Precure.
In the sequel, Mirai is a university student in the human world, Riko has returned to the magical world and is now a teacher at a magic school, and Kotoha is watching over the world from afar, and they must face their own past and future. It has been announced that Takahashi Rie, Horie Yui, Hayami, and Saito Ayaka will reprise their roles. The series will be broadcast on ABC TV/TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "ANiMAZiNG!!!" from 2 a.m. on January 11, 2025.
