It has been announced that the full-scale mystery game "Arne's Case Files," which is being distributed on the game distribution site "Game Magazine" (Baka), will be made into a TV anime. The announcement of the TV anime was made on November 6th, the seventh anniversary of the game's release.
"Arne's Case Files" is a full-scale mystery game created by the game production team "Harumurasaki," and was released in November 2017. The story is about the mismatched buddy duo of Arne Neuntator, a "legendary vampire" who runs a detective business in Rügenberg, a city inhabited by deformed creatures, and Lynn Reinweiss, the daughter of a prestigious aristocrat whose hobby is vampire otaku, as they seek out the truth behind a series of bizarre incidents. When the game was released, it became a hot topic among popular commentators, and has been gaining popularity, such as reaching the number one ranking in "Game Magazine." In November 2018, a comic book serialization also began in "Monthly Comic Gene" (KADOKAWA).
Murasaki, who worked on the original game, commented, "'Arne's Case Files' is being made into an anime! It's such a happy occasion! Hooray! An illustration drawn by Harutaro, who worked on the illustrations for the original game, of the great detective Arne and his assistant Rin was also released.
Murasaki will be taking part in the anime as series composer, while Harutaro will be working on character design.
