The third episode of the drama series "Tamiou R Inspired by Ikeido Jun" starring actor Endo Kenichi (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm) will air on November 5th.
◇The following contains spoilers for the previous episode.
The original work is Ikeido's novel of the same name (Bunshun Bunko/Kadokawa Bunko), and this is the first sequel in about nine years to the drama that aired in July 2015. Inspired by the novel, the work sees Muto Taizan (Endo), who has returned to power as prime minister, randomly swapping minds and bodies with members of the public.
Taizan is swapped in succession with his sharp-tongued secretary Yuka (Anosan) and then with Kinoshita (Sota Ryosuke), a young man who gets involved in shady part-time work. An investigation by public security detectives Nitta (Yamauchi Keiya) and Nekoda (Yamatoki Satoshima) raises the possibility that the US government is behind the series of events.
Amidst all this, US President Burger, who was re-elected, makes an emergency visit to Japan. While discussing how to respond with Chief Cabinet Secretary Kariya (Kaneda Akio) and others, another body swap occurs. This time, Taizan is swapped with a 5-year-old nursery school child, Shinta (Yoshimoto Nagisa).
Unable to attend the summit in the guise of a nursery school child, Taizan has no choice but to play at the nursery school. Having entered the prime minister's body without knowing why, Shinta spends his time freely, playing horseback with the clerk Ichirota (Ohashi Kazuya).
Meanwhile, the response headquarters has identified the distribution route of the EEG chip related to the swap, and it is possible that it may have been mixed into the vaccine.
Feeling that he has reached his limit in life in Shinta's body, Taizan decides to sneak out of the nursery school and head to a meeting with the president, but...!?
