The eighth episode of the Tuesday drama "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on May 26th. The aquarium date between Minato Machiyama (Nagasaku) and Kaito Oedo (Kenichi Matsuyama) was well-received by viewers.

Minato and Oedo went to the aquarium by themselves. When Oedo spotted a remora, he explained, "Speaking of sharks, mako sharks and starry smooth-hounds are sometimes used as sushi toppings." He then proceeded to introduce cooking methods for enjoying them, almost as if he were giving a lesson. Minato retorted, "Teacher, your occupational hazard is showing. I understand that it looks delicious, but..." but he seemed to be enjoying himself.
The two decided to eat crepes. The crepes were cute and decorated with sea creatures, and Minato exclaimed, "Wow, they're so cute!" to which Oedo replied, "It's a shame to eat them."
Immediately afterward, Minato took a big bite of the crepe, prompting Oedo to exclaim in surprise, "You're merciless!" Minato calmly explained, "Once you start thinking, 'It's so cute, it's a shame to eat it,' that's the end of it." To this, Oedo thoughtfully remarked, "I can't quite tell if Machiyama is cautious or bold."
Afterwards, the two enjoyed their aquarium date, including taking photos together with a face-in-the-hole photo panel. Social media was abuzz with comments such as, "Their aquarium date was so heartwarming, I wish we could have seen more," "It's rare to see such a sweet aquarium date," "Matsuyama mercilessly devours the cute crepe," and "Nagasaku Hiromi puts it in her mouth without hesitation, even though Matsuyama Kenichi says it's too pretty to eat."
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the "time to herself" that she finally has again at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months.
