It has been revealed that the "Shin Agito Exhibition," an exhibition commemorating the 25th anniversary of the special effects drama "Kamen Rider Agito," which aired from 2001 to 2002, will be held in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya from April 2026.
"Kamen Rider Agito" aired in 2001 as the second installment of the Heisei Kamen Rider series. It was the first to feature multiple Kamen Riders, a now-standard feature, and also ushered in the "handsome hero boom," in which actors like Toshiki Kasumi and Jun Kaname gained popularity for their untransformed faces. Its peak viewership rating of 13.9%, the highest ever recorded for the "Heisei/Reiwa Kamen Rider Series," remains unbeaten to this day.
The "Shin Agito Exhibition" is the second "Series 25th Anniversary Exhibition" following the "Kamen Rider Kuuga 25th Anniversary Super Kuuga Exhibition" held in 2025. It will be held in Ikebukuro Sunshine City from April 24th to May 12th in Tokyo, and will then travel to four major cities: Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya.
The super teaser visual was also released. It is a newly shot image of "Agito standing still in the pouring rain," which is the first new image in 25 years, and it contrasts with the teaser visual for the "Super Kuuga Exhibition," "Kuuga Under the Blue Sky."
To commemorate the event, TOKYO MX will broadcast "Kamen Rider Agito: Project G4 Director's Cut Edition" from 6:00 PM on January 3rd. This will be the first time that the Director's Cut Edition will be broadcast on terrestrial television.
