It has been announced that the one-shot manga "Garlic Boy Manga: Demon World's Ghost Demon Has No Motivation" by creator Yuji Nishimura, who is active as an illustrator, manga artist, and animator, will be published in the January 2026 issue of the manga magazine "Saikyō Jump" (Shueisha), which goes on sale on December 4th. Nishimura is the creator of characters such as "Gokigen Panda," "Konezumi," and "Love Rabbit," and this will be the first time his manga has been published in a commercial magazine.
"Garlic Boy Manga: The Demon World's Bake-Oni Has No Motivation" is a one-shot story commemorating Nishimura's 10th anniversary of his career, depicting the exploits of the cute, laid-back protagonist Bake-Oni, whose charm lies in his laid-back nature.
The issue's cover features " My Hero Academia Team-Up Mission," a spin-off of Kohei Horikoshi 's popular manga " My Hero Academia ." Bonuses include "My Hero Academia" holo stickers of Midoriya and Bakugo in casual clothes and an illustrated postcard of the New Ten - World Best Hero.
