It has been announced that Kensho Ono and Kenjiro Tsuda Tsuda will be appearing as voice actors in the TV anime " In the Clear Moonlit Dusk, " based on the manga by Mika Yamamori currently being serialized in "Monthly Dessert" (Kodansha). Ono will play Oji Takuto, a new part-timer at the curry restaurant run by the father of the main character Yoi Takiguchi, and Tsuda will play Yoi's father.
The key visual has been released, showing Takiguchi Yoi, who is bothered by being nicknamed "Prince," and Ichimura Kohaku, another "Prince," gazing at each other. The second PV has also been released, depicting Yoi's heart wavering as she begins to feel feelings for Kohaku for the first time, as well as Kohaku pouring out his feelings. In the PV, you can hear the ending theme "Azalea no Kaze" by the band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN.
Ono commented, "Oji's name is related to 'prince' and he is the third prince in this work. He seems to be interested in Yoi-chan, so I would like to closely understand his feelings. I hope that his unpretentious, kind, refreshing and straightforward side will come across on screen. I will do my best to bring out his charm."
Tsuda said, "I feel that Yoi's father is a person whose warmth as he watches over his daughter and whose presence in the family are important. I would like to play the role while being conscious of never being too forward, yet still being a "support" that Yoi can rely on. I would like to approach the role carefully so as to convey the image of a realistic and kind father."
The work is a love story between Takiguchi Yoi, a girl known as "Prince" for her good looks and smart demeanor, and Ichimura Kohaku, a senior student who is also known as "Prince."
The anime will be directed by Yusuke Maruyama and produced by East Fish Studio. Rei Ichinomiya will play Yoi Takiguchi and Ryota Suzuki will play Kohaku Ichimura. It will air on TBS every Sunday at 4:30 PM starting January 11, 2026.
