It has been announced that "Junket Bank," a TV anime based on the manga by Kazuyuki Tanaka currently serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), will begin airing on TV Tokyo in October.
A collaboration visual with the TV anime "LIAR GAME," currently airing on TV Tokyo, has also been released. "LIAR GAME" is a manga by Shinobu Kaitani that was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" from 2005 to 2015. The collaboration came about because the original manga was serialized in the same manga magazine and the TV anime is broadcast on the same TV Tokyo network. The visual depicts Shinji Makoto from "Junket Bank" and Shinichi Akiyama from "LIAR GAME," each holding a coin and a playing card, respectively, with a defiant smile.
"Junket Bank" has been serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" since July 2020. It depicts a new era of gambling battles between bank employees and gamblers in a gambling den run by a bank. The anime is directed by Seiji Kishi and produced by CUE. The main cast includes Soma Saito and Rikuya Yasuda as the rookie bank employee Hikaru Mitarai.
