It was announced on November 13th that actor Tokio Emoto and actor Honami Sato, also known as Hona Ikoka and drummer for the four-piece band Gesu no Kiwami Otome, got married. The two updated their respective Instagram accounts to announce their marriage. Both are 36 years old.
The two posted an image on Instagram showing a game controller and drumsticks along with a vertically written note. The note read, "This is a personal matter, but we would like to announce that Tokio Emoto and Honami Honami Sato have registered their marriage today, November 13th. We will continue to walk together, never forgetting our gratitude and our original intentions. We would appreciate your continued guidance and support," and was signed by both of them. They also posted a monochrome photo of the two of them together.
Sato is currently appearing in the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake" as a prostitute. Emoto will also appear in the eighth week of the drama, which begins on November 17th, as Yamahashi Saiji, the owner of the only imported goods store in Matsue, Yamahashi Pharmacy.
Emoto is the second son of a showbiz family: his father is actor Akira Emoto, his mother is actor Kazue Kakubari, who passed away in 2018, his brother is actor Tasuku Emoto, and his sister-in-law is actor Sakura Ando. He married actor Mari Iriri in 2020, and announced their divorce two years later in 2022.
