Ryuya Shimekake of the popular group "Travis Japan" will appear on "Dancing! Sanma Goten!! Autumn 2-Hour Special" (Nippon TV), which will be broadcast on October 21st at 7pm. He will talk about the troubles he faces due to his difficult-to-read last name.
The day featured two programs: "Major Surnames vs. Super Rare Surnames" and "Large Families of Celebrities." In "Major Surnames vs. Super Rare Surnames," Toru Ayame Goriki, whose surname is shared by only about 20 people nationwide, will appear, along with Ayame Gouriki and Shichigosankake.
Regarding his own surname, Shichigosankake said, "It's common in my hometown, so it's not unusual," and confessed that he has trouble making reservations. Because explaining his surname is complicated, he makes reservations using a different name, but he revealed that this has caused him trouble many times in the past.
The show also features ordinary people with extremely rare surnames, such as "Ichiban Kassen-san" and "Ubuyashiki-san."
