The 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen Gassen will be broadcast on New Year's Eve. Details of the special stage for the NHK morning drama series "Anpan," which aired in the first half of 2025, have been revealed.
The special stage will feature a star-studded cast including Mio Imada, who plays the main character Nobu and will act as host, as well as Anpanman, Baikinman, Uncle Jam and others from "Soreike! Anpanman."
"Tokyo Boogie Woogie" will be sung by Imada, Yuumi Kawai, and Nanoka Hara, "The Design Department Song" will be sung by Takumi Kitamura, Fumiya Takahashi, Koichi Yamadera, and students, "Look Up at the Stars at Night"Motoki Omori, and "Te no Hira wo Taiyou ni" will be sung by Imada, Kitamura, Kawai, Kenjiro Tsuda, Takahashi, Omori, Tsuda Kenjiro, Koichi Yamadera, Yamadera Koichi, and Toda Keiko.
Imada, Kitamura, Kawai, Hara, Takahashi, Omori, Tsuda, Nakao, Yamadera, and Toda will also perform "Anpanman March," along with Anpanman, Baikinman, Uncle Jam, Dokin-chan, Shokupanman, and Currypanman.
The theme of the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen is "Connecting, Connecting, New Year's Eve," and it will be hosted by Hiroiki Ariyoshi, Haruka Ayase, Mio Imada, and announcer Naoko Suzuki. It will be broadcast from 7:20 pm to 11:45 pm on December 31st (with some news breaks).
