It has been announced that a second season of the TV anime " The Ramparts of Ice ," based on the manga by Kocha Agasawa , is in production and will begin airing on October 1st. It will be broadcast simultaneously every Thursday at 11:56 PM on 28 TBS network stations nationwide. The announcement of the second season was made when the 14th and final episode of the first season aired on July 2nd.
A teaser visual for the second season has also been released, showing an unsettling atmosphere with the gazes of the four characters— Koyuki, Miki, Minato, and Yota—not meeting.
"The Ramparts of Ice" is a popular work that has surpassed 190 million cumulative views on "LINE Manga" and has sold over 2.8 million copies of its comic books. It was serialized from January 2020 to April 2022. The story follows Hikawa Koyuki, who is not good at interacting with people and puts up walls between herself and others.
