It has been announced that the TV anime "Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise," based on the popular manga by Urushibara Yuuki, currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten), will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons, with the second season, "Nerima Arc," to begin airing in October. The series has been airing every Friday at 11pm on Nippon TV's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Furaani)" since July, and the second season, "Nerima Arc," will begin airing in October.
Additional cast members have also been announced, including Tamaru Atsushi as Oni Agency's Yodogawa Masumi, Ishitani Haruki as Namiki Toka, Sawashiro Chiharu as Momotaro Agency's Shunichi Toki Shinya, Toki Shunichi as Momodera Kamikado, Asanuma Shintaro as Momoka Tsukiyomi, and Yuki Ono as Momokaku Ousuke.
The fourth key visual has also been released, featuring the main character, Ichinose Shiki, and Momodera Kamikado, who belongs to the Momotarou Organization but becomes friends with Shiki without knowing that she is a demon.
It was also announced that singer Cho Gakusei will be in charge of the opening theme "Amida Jin" for the "Nerima Chapter," and singer-songwriter eill will be in charge of the ending theme "ACTION." The fourth promotional video was released on YouTube, showcasing snippets of the songs.
"Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise" is a manga that has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" since 2020. Based on the fairy tale "Momotaro," it depicts the conflict between those with the blood of demons and those with the blood of Momotaro. The anime will be directed by Ato Nonaka and produced by Studio Hibari.
