The release dates for the 4DX versions of the two theatrical versions of "Gintama: The Final Chapter - Be Forever Yorozuya" and "Gintama THE FINAL," based on the anime "Gintama," an adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi's popular manga, have been announced. "Gintama: The Final Chapter - Be Forever Yorozuya 4DX" will be released on August 22nd, and "Gintama THE FINAL 4DX" will be released on November 14th, respectively.
The giveaways for both films were also announced. The first giveaway for "The Final Chapter 4DX" will be titled "Revival Giveaway" and will be a "Trinity Film" with three frames that recreate the giveaways given to moviegoers when it was released in theaters in 2013. The first giveaway for "THE FINAL 4DX" will be a clear card version of a mini poster with a newly drawn illustration that was given out as a giveaway to moviegoers when it was released in 2021 (two types will be chosen at random).
The second and third giveaways to moviegoers for the two films will be posters featuring the main visuals and teaser visuals from each film.
As part of the 20th anniversary project for the manga "Gintama," 4DX versions of two anime films will be screened. The second film, "Gintama: The Final Chapter - Be Forever Yorozuya," released in 2013 as the "final chapter" of the anime "Gintama," is a completely new episode drawn entirely by Sorachi, and is based on the ending of the original manga, and "Gintama: The Final," released in 2021, depicts the two "endings" of the anime and the original manga.
"Gintama" is an action drama set in a fictional Edo. In a world ruled by aliens called Amanto, the sweet-toothed and reckless samurai Sakata Gintoki solves various cases brought to Yorozuya with his friends Shinpachi and Kagura. The series began serialization in December 2003 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), and the final episode aired on June 20, 2019.
The first season of the TV anime aired from 2006 to 2010, the second from 2011 to 2013, the third from 2015 to 2016, and the fourth from 2017 to 2018. The animated film "Gintama: The Movie - The New Benizakura Arc" was released in 2010, and "Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter - Be Forever Yorozuya" was released in 2013. The film "Gintama: The Final" was released in 2021.
It is also attracting attention that the TV anime "3rd Year Z Class Ginpachi Sensei", based on the spin-off novel of the "Gintama" spin-off "Gintama 3rd Year Z Class Ginpachi Sensei", will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from October.
