It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita" (Reincarnated as a Sword), based on a popular light novel from the novel posting site "Shosetsuka ni Naro" and other sites, will be broadcast in 2026. An ultra teaser visual was also released, depicting Fran and her master heading for the floating island. The main staff from the first season will reprise their roles, and C2C will produce the anime.
"I Was Reincarnated as a Sword" is a story about a protagonist who is reincarnated as a sword, an intelligent weapon, in another world, meets Fran, a black cat, and goes on an adventure. The light novel is published by GC Novels (Micro Magazine). The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2022.
