Keiko Kitagawa comments on the completion of filming for her starring drama "From the Since I Took You Away"

The drama series " Since I Took You Away " (Kansai TV/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10pm) starring actress Keiko Kitagawa will air its final episode (episode 11) on June 30th. A photo and comment from Kitagawa and her co-star Nao Omori, smiling with a bouquet in hand, have arrived from the wrap-up of filming.

Kitagawa, who led the set as the lead actress, reflected, "A serial drama is fun because it's made by everyone together. I felt that every day during filming." She commented, "I'm sure that this one season I spent with everyone will be a memory I will never forget. I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart that everyone supported me, an imperfect lead actress."

The drama is an original suspenseful story of parent-child love, with the main character being Hiromi(played by Kitagawa), who is filled with grief and hatred after losing her child in a food accident. In the final episode, just as Miumi (played by Isshiki Kasumi) returns to the Yuki family as "Moeko" and begins to get used to her new environment, Asahi (played by Omori) is urged by Kido (played by Nakahara Takeo) to arrest Hiromi(played by Kitagawa) as soon as possible and resolve the situation. Meanwhile, Yukiko (played by Hara Hideko) comes to Hiromi, who has lost all will to live after losing Miumi. Yukiko conveys her feelings to Hiromi, who is dejected and speaks of atonement for his sins against Miumi... and so the story unfolds.

Thank you to everyone for your hard work. A serial drama is fun because it's made by everyone. I felt that every day during filming. When I had an idea on the set that I wanted to do a certain kind of acting and proposed it to the directors, everyone listened to me seriously and said things like, "Okay, let's do this kind of lighting, let's do this kind of angle," and everyone cut it out well. I was grateful every day that we were able to proceed with filming while sharing our ideas. Even before I started this job, I loved watching TV dramas and was a TV kid. Times have changed, and there are many entertainment options other than TV, but I still believe in the power and influence of TV dramas. I'm sure that this one season I spent with you will be a memory I will never forget. I'm truly grateful from the bottom of my heart that you all followed me, an inadequate leading actor. I would like to work hard so that I can work with you all again. Thank you very much for your hard work!

Thank you for your hard work! Thank you very much. It started during the cold season, and I feel like I've been involved in this work for a long time. The theme of the work was heavy, but with Kitagawa-san and everyone else pulling me along, I was able to have a very enjoyable time on set.
