Actor Masami Nagasawa appeared on stage on the opening day of the movie "Dollhouse" (directed by Shinobu Yaguchi) on June 13th. This was Nagasawa's first time appearing in a "scary movie," and she reflected, "I wondered if the set would be scary, but it was completely normal and the filming just seemed to proceed smoothly."
The film is a "doll mystery" in which the main character, Yoshie Suzuki (played by Nagasawa), gets involved in mysterious events after purchasing a doll called "Aya-chan" to ease the sadness of losing her beloved daughter. Director Yaguchi also wrote the script.
This day was titled "The Thrilling Opening Day Greetings," and many thrilling events were planned. Every time the sound of a child running echoed through the air, a woman dressed as "Aya-chan" ran around, or the face of "Aya-chan" was projected onto the screen, Nagasawa and the other speakers cried out in surprise and screamed, saying, "That was a shock!"
Koji Seto, Aoi Ikemura, Jun Fubuki, and Director Yaguchi also appeared at the event. A doll named Aya and YouTuber "ESPOIR TRIBE" also made a surprise appearance.
