The title of the original work comes from the famous song " Call of the Night" released by "Creepy Nuts" in 2018, and "Creepy Nuts" will be performing the opening theme, following Season 1. The main PV featuring the opening for Season 2 has also been released.

In contrast, Season 2 depicts the dampness of the night and its role as a place to dump lingering attachments and regrets, along with the adults struggling to come to terms with it. "Call of the Night" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) from August 2019 to January 2024.
