Idol group Nogizaka46 appeared at the red carpet event for MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025, held at the ROHM Theatre Kyoto (Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City) on May 22nd.
Nogizaka46, which was nominated for the "Best Idol Award," featured captain Umezawa Minami, Endo Sakura, Nagi Inoue, Sugawara Satsuki, and Aruno Nakanishi in black styling that exuded a mature vibe.
"MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025" is the largest music awards in Japan, jointly established by five major music industry organizations (Recording Industry Association of Japan, Japan Association of Music Businesses, Federation of Japanese Music Producers, Japan Music Publishers Association, and Concert Promoters Association of Japan). This year was the first time that the awards were held, and the awards ceremony was held at the ROHM Theatre Kyoto on May 21st and 22nd.
The Best Artist award went to popular band Mrs. Green Apple, the Best New Artist award went to tuki., a high school student singer who performs without revealing her true identity, the Best Song award went to "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" by hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts, and the Best Idol award went to popular group Snow Man.
