As part of the 10th anniversary project for the anime adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi's manga "My Hero Academia," which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), it has been announced that a concert titled "My Hero Academia IN Concert" will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on May 30, 2026. The concert will feature live performances of the soundtrack composed by Hayashi Yuki. Yamashita Daiki, who plays Daiki Yamashita , Nobuhiko Okamoto , who plays Katsuki Bakugo , and Yuki Kaji , who plays Shoto Todoroki , will also be on stage for live voice-overs and talk.
Hayashi, who is in charge of the music, commented, "I am very happy that the music of this work will once again resonate before everyone in such a wonderful way. I hope that the heroes' thoughts, struggles, and hopes will reach your hearts as a magnificent sound. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who loves this work and its music."
Yamashita said, "The music for My Hero Academia is indispensable and irreplaceable, like one of your classmates in Class 1A! The Final Season had a particularly big theme of "everyone together." I thought it was about not only the characters in the story, but also about us, the creators. One of those themes is the various songs, which always accompany the work and lead it even further. Let's enjoy the memories of these wonderful songs together!"
Okamoto said, "This event allows us to look back on the story of My Hero Academia so far through music. It's amazing. My Hero Academia itself is a work that is filled with all the emotions, so I think the soundtrack is also filled with them. All you fertilized eggs! Let's think about My Hero Academia together! Let's bathe in music! Let's run beyond our dreams!"
Kaji commented, "This will be the best concert ever, where you can experience the best soundtrack live! It's the perfect opportunity to experience the world of ' My Hero Academia,' which has finally come to an end, through music! I hope to create an exciting time together with my comrades in arms, Yamashita-kun and Okamoto-kun, as well as Hayashi Yuki-san, who continues to lead the soundtrack genre and spread it to the world! Please come and join us!!"
