[Oshi no Ko] TV anime season 3 opening teaser video released

A teaser video for the opening theme song for the third season of the TV anime series "Oshi no Ko," based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), has been released on YouTube. In the teaser video, a female voice can be heard, presumably the theme song artist. The opening theme song for the third season is listed as "???" and will be announced at the advance screening of the first episode of the third season, which will be held on December 28th, and will be broadcast live nationwide.

"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who also wrote " Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, " and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who also wrote " Scum's Wish ." It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024. It tells the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of a genius idol named Ai. The younger twin, Ruby, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while the older brother, Aqua, vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have accomplices in Ai's murder. The comic has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season from July to October 2024. A live-action adaptation has also been a hot topic. The third season will air on TOKYO MX and 36 other stations nationwide from 11:00 PM on January 14, 2026.
