The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. and others). On May 24th, we will look back on the 8th week, "Meetings and Partings" (May 19th to 23rd).
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the eighth week, the Asada family is grieving the news that Go (Kanata Hosoda) has been killed in battle. While everyone is saying, "Go was a great man," Ranko (Yuumi Kawai) remains silent... Eventually, unable to bear the loneliness and sadness of never seeing Go again, Ranko bursts into tears in Hatako's (Noriko Eguchi) arms.
At the same time, Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) receives a letter from Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa). It tells him that Gou has been killed in the war and that Nobu has been proposed to. Takashi decides to make his graduation project his masterpiece and go to see Nobu, but Nobu is touched by the kind personality of Jiro (Ayumu Nakajima), the man she is interested in... and so the story unfolds.
