The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. and others) will broadcast its 8th week, "Meeting and Parting." In the 40th episode on May 23, Nobu (Imada) goes to see Jiro ( Ayumu Nakajima) and tells him his honest feelings.
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the 40th episode, in December 1939, the Yanai family receives a letter from Takashi (Takumi Kitamura). Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) smiles happily at the strong letter that says he will make his graduation project his best work.
