92-year-old actor Tatsuya Nakadai will be appearing on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 pm on May 22nd.
He has been an actor for over 70 years. Among the many big stars he has worked with since his days with Haiyuza, he has been especially grateful to Rentaro Mikuni, Toshiro Mifune, and Tetsuro Tamba, and together with Kuroyanagi, he looks back on fond memories of these great actors. He also talks about his source of energy and his favorite overseas trips.
Even now, he never neglects his daily training, such as 45 minutes of simple exercise and voice training in the morning. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the actor training school "Mumeijuku" that he established with his late wife, actress Kyoko Miyazaki. He will talk about his teachings based on his own experiences and his thoughts about his students.
