It has been announced that the new short drama app "BUMP" will be released in June, "Cunning, Cute, and Tough ~Did you think I was just cute?~". The drama is based on the manga of the same name (Bunkasha) by Maeda Alan, which has recorded a total of over 920,000 downloads in digital comics. The cast names have not been announced, but a teaser video showing a "hint" has been released.
The drama is about Noriko Enatsu, the "princess of the public relations department" who is beautiful and spares no effort to be well-liked at work, but is angered and alarmed when new employee Sui Kurihara steals her popularity from the male employees, including the handsome section chief Shunsuke Kawaguchi, and views her as a rival. The cunning "sly girl" shows off her true nature in a dark and sinister battle.
Enatsu will be played by a model and glamour model who made her breakthrough as the heroine of "Kamen Rider." Sui, the stunningly beautiful girl who becomes Enatsu's rival, will be played by an actress who will be making her drama debut since graduating from a popular idol group. She is an animal lover, friendly and naturally lovable character, but in this production she plays an incredibly cunning character. The handsome section chief Shunsuke, who the two compete for, will be played by a popular actor who has played leading roles many times in popular 2.5D stage productions.
The cast will be announced on May 23rd, and further information will be released on BUMP's official account (@bump_drama) from time to time.
