On May 6th, it was revealed that the popular group "Arashi" will end their activities in May of next year. The announcement was made in a video posted by the five members on the fan club member site "FAMILY CLUB".

Hello everyone, it's been a while. We are Arashi. We have something to tell you.
It has been about four and a half years since we went on hiatus. In the last year before our hiatus, we were unable to perform in front of you all due to the effects of COVID-19.
In order to personally express our gratitude to all the fans who have supported us up until now, the five of us will come together again and begin preparations for a concert tour as Arashi, scheduled for around spring next year.
Also, with the establishment of Arashi Inc., there was a time when we explored the possibility of forming a new structure with new staff, but we would like to create this scene together with the many staff members who have helped us for over 20 years.
This tour will mark the end of our activities as Arashi.
About a year and a half ago, the five of us got together and had many discussions about "performing as Arashi once again."
However, with the environment around us changing and each of these environments taking on a different form than before, it was not easy to arrive at an answer.
After taking time and discussing it many times, the conclusion we all came to was to come together once again to hold a concert as Arashi, to express our gratitude to our fans in person and to have them watch our performance, something that we were not able to do due to COVID-19, and then to end our activities as a five-member group.
We couldn't imagine going on hiatus again after resuming our activities. We will temporarily suspend applications for new fan club membership so that current fan club members, who are watching this video now, can apply for the concert first.
We are currently in the process of preparing for the tour next year with the help of many people, but we are not yet in a position to reveal everything at this stage. As soon as we have confirmed everything, we would like to be the first to tell our fans about it, in our own words.
As Arashi will end their activities, the fan club will also cease operations at the end of May 2026. However, in the year until then, we will deliver as much content as possible to our fan club members, so we hope you will enjoy watching it.
In addition, we are preparing to resume accepting new members so that those who are not currently members of the fan club can enjoy the next distribution. The next content distribution within the Arashi fan club is scheduled for mid-next month.
We would like to reunite as a group of five again and express our gratitude to all the fans who have continued to support us until now, and hope to deliver content that will please you.
