The fourth episode of the original anime "LAZARUS" by director Shinichiro Watanabe, known for the anime "Cowboy Bebop," titled "DON'T STOP THE DANCE," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo on April 27th.
It turns out that stock trader Sam Steveson sold off pharmaceutical company stocks in Hapuna before the stocks crashed. Suspicion arises that Sam knew Hapuna's secret. Meanwhile, Elaina discovers the wallet of Dr. 909, one of the world's three greatest hackers, and tries to identify its location. The rest of the group hears that the guarded Sam appears at a dance club every week, so they decide to infiltrate the club disguised as party animals. For some reason, only Leland ends up cross-dressing.
The story is about a team of agents from around the world, Lazarus, who pursue Skinner, a genius scientist who developed a painkiller called Hapuna, which causes death three years after taking it, in order to save humanity.
Mamoru Miyano will play the protagonist Axel, who is imprisoned due to a certain incident but repeatedly escapes, and whose "hobby is escaping from prison." Voice actors include Makoto Furukawa, Maaya Uchida, Yuma Uchida, Manaka Iwami, Megumi Hayashibara Akio Otsuka, and Koichi Yamadera. MAPPA will produce the film.
