Erika Ikuta, a former member of the idol group "Nogizaka46" who is active as a singer and actor, will appear in the new NHK popular comedy program "LIFE! Spring" (general) broadcast at 10 pm on May 2nd. A program cut in which Ikuta dressed up as a goddess was also released.
"LIFE!" aired a special program on BS Premium in 2012, and series 1 began on NHK General TV in 2013. So far, it has produced popular characters such as the Squid King, Mitsuya Kanji, Alien Prime Minister, Usotaro, Omoemon, Katz Eye, Yokai Doshitarōka-chan, Guessnic Magazine Saijō, and Plus Conductor.
The show will be renewed in spring 2021, marking the ninth year since it began as a series. It will be broadcast seasonally, in spring, summer, fall, and winter, with a different cast each time.
This will be Ikuta's first appearance in "LIFE!" in a year and a half. She commented, "It's been a year and a half since my last appearance, but it was fun playing the role of a goddess and taking a foot bath! It was hard to hold back my laughter during the recording!"
The program on this day was an expanded version of 72 minutes. Singer Ano-san, also known as "Ano-chan," will make her first appearance on "LIFE!" and will be trying out a full-scale comedy skit for the first time. It was also announced that the other guests to appear include the leader of the show, Teruyoshi Uchimura, Kenshiro Kawanishi, Junpei Goto, Hiyori Sakurada, Jiro, Naoki Tanaka, Muga Tsukaji, Naomi Nishida, and Koshi Mizukami.
