The third episode of the original anime "LAZARUS" by director Shinichiro Watanabe, known for the anime "Cowboy Bebop," titled "LONG WAY FROM HOME," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo on April 20th.
Chris and Leland infiltrate Skinner's house disguised as cleaners, but find no clues. Meanwhile, Axel and Doug search for Claude, Skinner's former co-worker and Doug's former teacher. From Claude's testimony, who was homeless, they discover that Skinner's grandmother is likely in Istanbul. Axel and Leland infiltrate the most dangerous area of Istanbul, but as expected, they are surrounded by local bad guys.
The story is about a team of agents from around the world, Lazarus, who pursue Skinner, a genius scientist who developed a painkiller called Hapuna, which causes death three years after taking it, in order to save humanity.
Mamoru Miyano will play the protagonist Axel, who is imprisoned due to a certain incident but repeatedly escapes, and whose "hobby is escaping from prison." Voice actors include Makoto Furukawa, Maaya Uchida, Yuma Uchida, Manaka Iwami, Megumi Hayashibara Akio Otsuka, and Koichi Yamadera. MAPPA will produce the film.
