A special program called "Bakusho Sokkurimono Mimicry Kohaku Uta Gassen Special," in which entertainers who are good at impersonations are divided into red and white groups and perform their impersonations, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" (Saturday 9:00 p.m.) on April 19th. Entertainer Koji Imada will act as the MC, and Genta Matsuda of the popular group "Travis Japan" will appear as a special MC.
Matsuda himself will also perform a "mock exhibition" with singer Narita Hiromi, singing KinKi Kids' "Aisareru yori aishitai." Matsuda will imitate Domoto Koichi, while Narita will imitate Domoto Tsuyoshi.
In the popular segment "Next up! Which one is the real person!?", three guests, Naomi Matsushima, Akemi Ishii, and Oideyasu Oda, appear as the "real person" guests. On the other side of the curtain, the "real person" and the master impersonator stand by, and they try to distinguish between the "real person" and the master impersonator's voice. The studio is confused by how similar they are.
The new project "MONOMANE STATION" will be hosted by Johnny Shimura, who will imitate Tamori. One person who only has a similar face and one who only has a similar voice will join forces to perform a "combined impersonation." The two will stand back to back on a platform, and while rotating the platform, they will imitate the face and voice. The highly difficult impersonations of Ano-chan, RADWIMPS, GLAY, YOASOBI, and Tomoyasu Hotei will be a sight to behold, as will the skills of the two voice and face actors.
In the "Impersonation Dream Cover" project, where everyone covers famous songs by imitating the voices of artists they know, Kodai Matsuura will cover Kenji Sawada's "Katte ni Shiyagare" by impersonating Kenshi Yonezu. Nana Nana will cover Mr. Children's "Tomorrow never knows" by impersonating DREAMS COME TRUE.
In addition, in "Shimofuri Myojo's Funny Short Material Battle that will make you laugh in a second," a wide variety of short material will be displayed one after another, including parodies of popular dramas and movies, "Munch's Scream," and jokes about Yuya Uchida and Kirin Kiki.
Guests appearing include Shinobu Hasegawa from the comedy duo "Sisonne," actors Riko Fukumoto and Atsuko Maeda, talent Naomi Matsushima, and actor Osamu Mukai.
After the recording, Matsuda, who served as the special MC, commented, "There were a lot of impersonators and look-alikes, and I was thrilled by the new corner! There are lots of new corners, and the impersonators are unbelievably similar to the real people, it's amazing! I really want you to check it out!"
