Actor Kyoko Fukada attended the awards ceremony for the 2025 Weibo Cultural Exchange Night held in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture on April 16th.
Fukada, who received the Weibo Japan Entertainment Icon of the Year Award, appeared in a sheer pure white dress.
In her speech, she said, "I am very happy to receive such an honorable award. I have heard that there are many people in China who support me. I will continue to work hard to make everyone smile through my acting, so please continue to support me."
This awards brought together artists of a wide range of generations, from Japan's top artists to the new generation of fresh talent. Famous artists, cultural figures and groups that have contributed to cultural exchange between Japan and China were honored, with Ayumi Hamasaki, Kento Nakajima, Shunji Iwai and Hirokazu Koreeda among the guests.
