The second episode of the original anime "LAZARUS" by director Shinichiro Watanabe, known for the anime "Cowboy Bebop," titled "LIFE IN THE FAST LANE," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo on April 13th.
"Lazarus" is a team formed to find Skinner, and Axel joins them as they begin their search for Skinner. Elaina, a hacker, discovers that Skinner once bought a nuclear shelter. Lazarus and his team split into two groups and head to the shelter and the sales company. There, men of unknown identity and nationality appear one after another, and chaos ensues.
The story is about a team of agents from around the world, Lazarus, who pursue Skinner, a genius scientist who developed a painkiller called Hapuna, which causes death three years after taking it, in order to save humanity.
Mamoru Miyano will play the protagonist Axel, who is imprisoned due to a certain incident but repeatedly escapes, and whose "hobby is escaping from prison." Voice actors include Makoto Furukawa, Maaya Uchida, Yuma Uchida, Manaka Iwami, Megumi Hayashibara Akio Otsuka, and Koichi Yamadera. MAPPA will produce the film.
