It has been announced that a sequel to the second season of the TV anime Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, based on the manga by Aida Iro, currently being serialized in Monthly G Fantasy (Square Enix), titled Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun 2, will be produced and will air on TBS affiliates every Sunday at 4:30 pm starting in July. The second season began airing in the same time slot in January, and the final episode was the 12th episode aired on March 30th. At the end of the final episode, a teaser visual by the original author Aida Iro was released, announcing the sequel's broadcast.
"Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun" depicts the daily efforts of Yashiro Nene, a young girl who forms a bond with Hanako-kun, also known as "Hanako-san of the Toilet," the seventh of Kamome Academy's seven wonders, and Minamoto Mitsuru, a young exorcist, as they work to restore the altered rumors of the seven wonders and monsters.
