The 65th episode of the NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi, was broadcast on December 26th. In this episode, which will be the last to be broadcast this year, Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven ( Tommy Bastow) finally get together, eliciting emotional responses from viewers.
In episode 65, on the way back from Gesshoji Temple, Toki receives a marriage proposal from Ginjiro (played by Kanichiro). Meanwhile, Haven is invited by Eliza (played by Charlotte Kate Fox) to leave Japan and write a travelogue together abroad.
Afterwards, Ginjiro and Eliza leave Matsue, and Toki and Heaven bump into each other at the foot of a bridge. Toki stops Heaven, who is going for a walk, and asks, "Can I join you?" Heaven replies, "Yes."
From this scene, the theme song "Laughing and Falling" by the husband-and-wife duo Humbert Humbert begins to play, accompanied by a simple title sequence with only the credits on a white background.
The two take a walk by the lake. Heaven grabs Toki's hand, who is shy, and the two begin walking hand in hand. The episode ends with a beautiful sunset reflected between their hands.
