It has been revealed that the second season of the TV anime " Blue Box ," based on the popular manga by Kouji Miura currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will be produced. The first season will begin airing on TBS in October 2024, with the final episode, episode 25 "Soredemo," airing on March 27th. After the first season ended, a promotional video announcing the production of the second season was released. An illustration of Taiki Inomata and Chinatsu Kano gazing at each other, drawn by character designer and chief animation director Tanino Miho, was also released.
"Blue Box" began serialization in April 2021 in "Weekly Shonen Jump." Set at the sports powerhouse Sakae High School, the story is about a boy's badminton club member, Taiki Inomata, who falls in love with a senior in the girls' basketball club, Chinatsu Kano . The manga has been published in 19 volumes, with a total circulation of over 7.5 million copies.
The anime will be produced by Telecom Animation Films and will star Shoya Chiba as Shoya Chiba , Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano , and Akari Kito as Hina Chono .
