Entertainer Ruriko Kojima will appear on TOKYO MX's sauna talk show "Savannah Takahashi's, The God of Saunas" (every other Saturday at 6pm), which will be broadcast on January 10th. Kojima, who resumed her entertainment activities in October last year after a hiatus of about two and a half years, will talk with host Shigeo Takahashi of "Savannah" at the Igusayu public bath in Suginami, Tokyo.
Kojima has been performing with Takahashi since they were 19 years old, and they are also close friends in private. This will be their first time performing together in about three years, and the mood was emotional from the opening. This will be Kojima's first talk show appearance since resuming activities, and when asked why he accepted the offer, he said, "Right now, things are a bit complicated... But I thought that if I was with Takahashi, I'd be able to talk honestly."
While sweating in the sauna, they chat about their recent activities. Currently the head of his own agency, Kojima says he personally found his manager, who turned out to be his childhood friend from elementary school. He reveals the secret story behind the once-in-a-lifetime "proposal" that convinced his childhood friend, who was a company employee, to make the decision.
The series will be divided into two parts, with the second part airing on the 24th.
