Hinatazaka46 Rika Takai:New member 5th generation member's name "Li" "It's a bit of a difficult kanji, but I hope you'll remember it"

Newly taken photos and a handwritten profile of Rika Takai, a new 5th generation member joining the idol group Hinatazaka46, have been released.

Takai-san was born on August 1, 2007 and is 17 years old. She is from Hyogo Prefecture. In her profile, she wrote, "The 'Li' in 'Li' comes up when you type 'Kashiko'. It's a little difficult to type, but I hope you'll remember it!!"

The 5th generation members were selected to join Hinatazaka46 after auditions were held in August last year. Eleven members passed, but one declined, leaving 10 in the end. Starting at noon on March 24th, new photos and handwritten profiles were released every day for five consecutive days at noon.
