Actor Yuriko Yoshitaka attended the "GLOBAL WORK GINZA Opening Presentation" held in Tokyo on March 25th. She spoke about the costume she wore in last year's taiga drama "To Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e)," in which she played the lead role.
At the presentation, a talk session was held titled "Ask Yuriko Yoshitaka! A 'sure' choice." Yoshitaka had to choose an answer to the question from two options.
When asked "What do you wear when you get together with your friends?", she chose to wear a one-piece dress or a set, and answered "a set." She revealed that she often wears a set, and said with a smile, "I like jackets because I have sloping shoulders. I like shoulder pads."
Looking back on the filming of "Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e)," she revealed the difficulties she faced, saying, "I was constantly wearing the twelve-layered kimono for the taiga drama, so I was worried my shoulders would get hurt," drawing laughter from the audience.
