Actor Ken Yasuda appeared at the production announcement for the drama series "He's definitely my husband" (Kantele/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10pm) held in Tokyo on January 5th.
When asked how she spent the New Year holidays, Yasuda said, "I've been watching Chanmin-san. I was shocked on New Year's Eve (at the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen). That's what it means to be an artist. I can't stop crying. For the past four days, I've been watching nothing but Chanmin-san. All I can think about is Chanmin-san and HANA," revealing that she has become obsessed with Chanmin-san.
He continued, "I'm going to refresh myself (over the New Year holidays) and I have to look at the script again today. But I think I'll probably look at Chanmina. It really cleansed my heart. There's no one like her. I'm going to take this spirit and get to filming starting tomorrow."
He continued, "You (Chanmina) will be number one in 2026. It's only January, but I can't concentrate on my work!", which caused the audience to erupt in laughter.
Nao Matsushita, Yuki Sakurai, and Hio Miyazawa also appeared at the production announcement.
The drama is an original story written by Satoko Okazaki, inspired by an incident in which a body found in a river was handed over to another family by the Metropolitan Police Department, but when the man returned home later, it was discovered that the bodies had been swapped. The drama will start at 10:00 PM on January 5th. The first episode will be extended by 15 minutes.
