It has been revealed that the theatrical anime "Tabekko Animals THE MOVIE," based on the popular snack "Tabekko Animals" (Ginbis), will collaborate with a completely new anime version of Rumiko Takahashi's hit manga "Ranma 1/2." A collaboration visual featuring the Tabekko Animals and animal characters from "Ranma 1/2" has been released. Collaboration stickers using the same visual will be distributed for free near the ShoPro booth at "AnimeJapan 2025," which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on March 22 and 23.
Takahashi commented, "The collaboration between the movie 'Tabekko Animals THE MOVIE' and the TV anime 'Ranma 1/2' is so cute, I'm happy about it!"
Ginbis President Miyamoto Shuji said, "We are very honored to collaborate with Ranma 1/2. We have created a collaboration visual that is full of fun, so we hope you enjoy it!"
In "Tabekko Animals THE MOVIE," the Tabekko Animals take on the mission of defeating an enemy plotting to take over the world. The film will be directed by Takekiyo Jin of "After School Midnighters" and produced by Marza Animation Planet, which has also produced "Lupin the Third : The First," "Sonic the Movie," and "Captain Harlock." It will be released on May 1st.
