Izuki Shimoda was announced as the fifth member of the fifth generation to join the idol group Hinatazaka46. She is 18 years old and from Chiba Prefecture. A video of Shimoda was released on the group's YouTube channel Hinatazaka Channel, where she shows off her special skill of table tennis.
There are a total of 11 fifth-generation members, and they have been announced one by one every day at noon on Hinatazaka Channel since March 11th.
