It was revealed on March 10 that 11 fifth-generation members will be joining the idol group Hinatazaka46. Auditions will be held in August 2024 with the catchphrase "Because I love you. Because I love you. Because I love you," and after a training period, the new members will finally be announced.
The first teaser movie of the 5th generation of "Hinatazaka46" was released on the official YouTube channel "Hinatazaka Channel". Following the 4th generation's "Sea of Cruz", this was filmed in Miyazaki Prefecture, "the sunshine of Japan", where "Hinata Fes 2024" was held in September 2024. The 5th generation members were shown against the backdrop of the magnificent scenery of "Toi Misaki" located in Kushima City, the southernmost point of the prefecture.
Starting March 11th, the 5th generation members will be announced one by one at 12pm on "Hinatazaka Channel." One member was absent from filming the teaser movie due to testing positive for COVID-19.
