The seventh episode of the Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (TBS, Sunday 9pm) starring Tori Matsuzaka was broadcast on March 2nd. Mikami's (Matsuzaka) consideration towards Shiiba ( Sakura Kiryu), a student in class 3-2, became a hot topic on social media.

After receiving a report from the school, Mikami and Koreeda (Riho Yoshioka) rush to Shiiba's side. Shiiba has shoplifted sanitary products from a drugstore.
Mikami told Shiiba, "I knew you left work early, but I'm sorry I was so busy with my own things. I understand how you feel having to deal with everything on your own. I was the same." Shiiba told him that since her grandfather's dementia worsened, her PMS (premenstrual syndrome) has gotten worse, and she has been unable to control her irritability and tears for no reason.
The drugstore clerk told Mikami, "We're not reporting this to the police. Just pay the fee." Mikami said, "Please wait a moment," and put a large amount of sanitary products in the basket, asking Shiiba, "Will this be enough until graduation?"
As Shiiba nodded, Mikami looked relieved and said, "This is the first thing I've ever bought in my life."
