The official trailer for "Minecraft: The Movie" (directed by Jared Hess, scheduled for release on April 25th), the first live-action film adaptation of the world of the popular game "Minecraft," has been released.
"Minecraft" is a game in which players can freely create and adventure in a virtual space made up of 3D blocks, and in 2023, global sales exceeded 300 million copies. The film depicts the adventures of the protagonist Steve (Jack Black), former top gamer Garrett (Jason Momoa), and his friends, who are transported to the mysterious world of "Minecraft World" where they can create anything they can think of after touching a mysterious glowing blue cube.
At the beginning of the trailer, Steve, Garrett, and Henry dive from the sky to the ground where the square panda is spending his time. Steve is transferred to the "Minecraft world" and enjoys a perfect life, but one day he discovers a gate to the "Nether," a place full of danger and where neither joy nor creation is allowed.
The friends throw themselves into battle and survival to protect "Minecraft World" from the Piglin army of square pigs led by Malgosha, the boss who makes the "Nether" his base. The game also includes impressive action scenes, such as making a diamond sword on a workbench, gliding at high speed using the flying tool "Elytra", running through a large number of creepers on a minecart, and being attacked by a square baby zombie riding a square chicken.
The trailer also highlights the personalities of the characters played by the stellar cast, including Natalie, who calmly comments on the silly friendship between the older man duo Steve and Garrett.
