It has been announced that the TV anime series "Egao no Taenai Shokuba Desu," based on the manga by Kuzushiro, currently being serialized on Kodansha's web manga service Comic Days, will begin airing in October. It has also been announced that Yuko Natsuyoshi, Sora Amamiya, and Miku Ito will appear as the main cast. The story is set in the manga industry, with Natsuyoshi playing 25-year-old rookie young manga artist Futami Nana, Amamiya playing 29-year-old Sato Kaede, Futami's editor, and Ito playing Hazama Mizuki, 20 years old and Futami's capable assistant.
