The fifth episode of the TV drama series " Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle? " (TBS, Friday 10pm) starring Suzu Hirose was broadcast on February 21st. The lawyer Matsukaze, played by Matsuyama Kenichi, became a hot topic on social media, with comments such as "He has an irresistible gentle guardian vibe."

Kokoro Mugi (Hirose) is shocked to hear from detective Akazawa (Fujimoto Takahiro) that ramen stand owner Someda (Sakai Toshiya) has died. When she hears that Someda may have committed suicide, she tells Akazawa, "There's no way that's true."
Afterwards, Kokoromugi returns to the office and watches a video of her father Haruo (Lily Franky) and Tomoya (Narita Ryo).
In the video, Haruo makes a shocking confession about Endo Rikiro ( Yoshi Sakou), a death row inmate who was arrested as the culprit of the Togayama incident that occurred 22 years ago, saying, "Rikiro is not the culprit of the Togayama incident."
Meanwhile, Kokoro Mugi goes to meet with Matsukaze, former defense lawyer for the Togayama case, Mikita Tatsuo (Ishimaru Kenjiro). Matsukaze gently encourages her, saying, "There's no need to rush. Just wake up slowly. You know, in the morning, no one wakes up and jumps out of bed, right? Stretch your body and get up. It's okay to do it slowly. Just don't push yourself."
