It has been announced that original illustration cards of Machu, Nyaan, and Shuuji will be distributed from March 1st as the sixth giveaway to attendees of the advance theatrical release of the latest work in the popular anime series Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-. The illustrations were created by character designer and character animation director Fumie Kobori.
"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is also a hot topic as it is the first collaboration between Sunrise, which is responsible for the "Gundam" series, and khara, known for the "Evangelion" series. Ahead of the broadcast of the TV anime series, a pre-release movie version that reconstructed some episodes began screening on January 17th. It has been a hit, grossing 2.82 billion yen and attracting over 1.722 million viewers in the 39 days since its release.
The TV anime series will be broadcast on 30 Nippon Television network stations every Tuesday at 12:29am starting from April 8th.
