The fourth episode of the TV drama " Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle? " (TBS, Friday 10pm) starring Suzu Hirose was broadcast on February 14th. A comment made by Yamashita Shizuka, the mother of Kokoro Mugi (played by Sendo Atsuko), became a hot topic on social media.
◇The following contains spoilers
Kokoro Mugi hears from Someda (Toshiya Sakai), the owner of a ramen stand, about how he met Haruo (Lily Franky) and what has happened so far. A flashback scene was shown of Haruo visiting Someda's stall with Kokoro Mugi and Shizuka.
Someda asked Kokoro Mugi, who introduced herself as "5 years old," "Do you like ramen?" Kokoro Mugi smiled and said, "Ramen is my favorite after curry and chikuwa." Shizuka was shown revealing, "I eat a lot, so I'm bigger than other kids."
On social media, people commented, "I was really taken aback when the mother said, 'Kokoro Mugi is bigger because he eats more than the other kids,'" "Is this a foreshadowing that he's bigger than the other kids because he eats a lot?" and "I'm really curious about the line where 5-year-old Kokoro Mugi says he's 'bigger than the other kids'."
Also, referring to Hayashikawaka, who was 0 years old at the time and survived the Togayama Incident, many people said, "I'm curious about the part that says she was 'bigger than the other girls'...is Kokoromugi really Hayashikawaka?" and "The age difference between Hayashikawaka and Kokoromugi is only one year, so if this one-year difference is a hint that she was 'bigger than the other girls', then it may be that Kokoromugi is most likely Hayashikawaka."
